Shane Anderson: Dining Chair

Shane's ideas for this chair have been inspired by hooven animals such as the Clydesdale horse.
He is also very aware of the ergonomic necessities of the human body's needs to be comfortable.
In an abstract way; the legs reflect the legs of the creature, the seat and backrest are the animal's back and tail. The chair has no head - the user of the chair provides this while seated!

This chair is a prototype of a current set of eight with more prototypes of similarly designed chairs to be made in the near future.
They are being made of Fijian walnut and will be finished with A-grade leather.
