Entitled "Waterlogged".
This exhibition piece was made for the Tweed Regional Gallery's
1994 Local Product Exhibition.
It has since been shown in a number of exhibitions from
Southport to Coffs Harbour.
The magazine rack rails are motise and tenoned into the
slab ends. The top has hand carved ends as well as the
carving which represents the splash which follows when a
rock thrown into water.
Finish is 2-pack polyurethane lacquer and waxed.
This work can be reproduced in your timber of choice. The
slab top is dependant on 'Mother Nature'
for its shape.
