Frank is well versed in a number of woodworking fields. He served his apprenticeships in the United Kingdom before migrating to Australia several years back. While working in the building trade, Frank took on marquetry. He demonstrates his marquetry skills at various craft fairs within South Australia.

Frank's marquetry pictures have won prizes in local and interstate exhibitions. In 1988 he was nominated for a BHP Award, and has won awards at several Royal Adelaide Shows, the 1993 Timber and Working With Wood Show in Melbourne, and the 1992 Endangered Wildlife of Australia Exhibition.

Frank has been developing a range of working models of a wide variety of machines -- all constructed with meticulous attention to detail from Australian timbers. His other woodworking ventures include the painstaking work of inlaid rosettes for handmade lutes and guitars. His current production of wooden pens of either inlaid veneers or multi-segmented Australian timbers make these an ideal "corporate or presentation gift". All pens come boxed ready for presentation.
