Dimension 4 pre-treatment applied before, during or immediately after construction stabilises and protects
timber from staining, sun, water and fungal damage and prolongs the life of compatible water-based stains.
Intergrain Dimension 4 introduces a new era in water-based timber pre-treatment technology. It is formulated
on a new and unique penetrating water-repellent resin system and environmentally safe fungicides that provide a new
performance standard.
FUNCTION

For use as a pre-treatment under INTERGRAIN HVC/DWD and other compatible finishes (refer Manufacturer)

For the protection of timber from staining, sun, water and fungal damage for up to four months before and during
construction period and prior to painting and staining.

For end grain sealing of timbers prior to storage for woodturning and carving etc.
ACTION
Dimension 4 stabilises timber by reducing water absorption, cupping, splitting, checking and staining.
It inhibits the development of dry rot, mildew, sap stain, fungi, and prolongs the life of compatible water-based
timber paints and stains.
WHERE TO USE DIMENSION 4
On all bare, clean, new or old, sawn or dressed timber. Suitable timbers include C.C.A. Treated Pine. OB hardwood,
KD hardwood, composite wood, laminated beams, Oregon, Cedar, Radiata Pine, Merbau, Jarrah, Meranti, Cypress Pine, etc.
Used as structural timber, cladding, weatherboards, window frames, joists, bearers, decking, pergolas, log homes, etc.
and for back priming weatherboards and interior lining for wet areas.
SURFACE PREPARATION
Timber must be clean, dry and free from mould, millglaze, paint, varnish, stains etc. that would inhibit penetration;
dity, grey, stained or discoloured timber should be cleaned with INTERGRAIN REVIVA timber cleaner.
APPLICATION
Using timber absorption as a guide apply either one (1) heavy or two (2) wet on wet flood coats by brush, spray, roller or
10 minute dip.
Several applications may be necessary to ensure full saturation on asborbent end grains or joinery.
DRYING TIME
At 20deg C. approximately 30 minutes touch dry. Allow overnight drying before painting.
COVERAGE
Approximately 5 - 7 sq. mt. per litre. Subject to timber species, condition and porosity.
CLEAN-UP
Water.
