John Nelson: Octopus

This tiny critter has been carved fastidiously out of holly with a wax finish and mounted on a slice of agate. It has specks of ebony for the eyes. The photo does not do justice to the intricate beauty of this carving. John is to be highly commended for his patience and attention to detail.

This same subject can be carved again to order - deposit required on commissioning.
