This completely new unit was introduced at the 1998 Axminster show in the
United Kingdom as one of the new products for Aminster Power Tool Company's
range of tools.
As a result of the demonstrations at the Show the unit has now been
enthusiastically endorsed by Bill Jones who has also purchased a D.T.A. unit)
Several international woodworking journals around the world will feature this new development from Australia.
The attachment consists of two compound slides able to rotate 360 deg.

Specifications
The Decorative Turning (Tm) Attachment will fit most wood lathes but it is
recommended for a lathe with over 130mm (approx. 5inches) centre height.
Lathes with less than this will require a custom made unit.
The Vertical slide can also rotate 360 degrees.
All slides have over 100 mm (4 inches) of movement but further movement can be obtained
on the mounting plate for larger work.
The index plate has 60 - 24 - 10 divisions and with the slip adjustment multiples of these divisions are available.
Two cutting heads. using 3/16" dia. tool steel cutters are supplied with each machine.
A thread cutting attachment is also available as an extra and is easy to use (using 8 T.P.I as a standard)
but any thread can be supplied.
A video comes with the attachment which shows how simple it is to start Decorative Turning (Tm.)
